Typography is the tool we use to communicate in our designs, and Graphic design is the art of using designs to communicate. Everyone should have their own definition of what Graphic design is, and Typography should be at the center of their designs.

2.  Define Graphic Design and style it using the font combinator (http://font-combinator.com/)
 3. Research Steve Jobs and Typography/Calligraphy starting at http://www.reed.edu/calligraphy/history.html
4. Look for examples of Typography all around you in your world and notice how it is used to communicate in Designs everywhere you look.

There are many online technologies to help you make a website with little or no experience. My favorite is a free one called Weebly. Today will will make a Weebly website.

Assignment: Make a weebly.com website to have a portfolio for your work for the year.
